Problem

agentbox create runs:

sbx create --clone --no-share-skills --name ... --template ... shell "$projectRoot"

In sbx v0.46.0 (checked on the Windows build, sbx create --help) the flag no
longer exists. It was replaced by:

--skills string Shared skills store mode for the agent's skills directory
(e.g. ~/.claude/skills): off, readonly, or readwrite.
Default: readonly, or the configured skills.defaultMode setting.

Note the default: readonly, so host skills now reach the VM unless
--skills off is passed. ARCHITECTURE.md states that host-side skills never
reach the VM; that only stays true with the new flag.

Tasks

  • Switch to --skills off. Decide whether to support both flags
(detect via sbx create --help) or require sbx ≥ the version that
    introduced --skills.
  • Run tests/e2e.sh against the current sbx. The offline suite cannot see
changes in sbx's table formats (sbx ls, sbx policy ls --wide,
sbx template ls) or in which remotes sbx restores on start.
  • Update the tested version in README and in agentbox doctor.
  • Check the mock sbx in tests/mock/sbx against the real flags.

Also worth a look in 0.46

  • sbx diagnose: could back part of agentbox doctor.
  • sbx kit (mixins with network policies, env vars, startup commands, files)
and sbx env (declarative sbxenv.yaml with workspace mounts): both
experimental, but both overlap with #5 (Project templates on top of the agent template) and
    #3 (Multi-repo projects: design).
## Problem `agentbox create` runs: ```bash sbx create --clone --no-share-skills --name ... --template ... shell "$projectRoot" ``` In sbx v0.46.0 (checked on the Windows build, `sbx create --help`) the flag no longer exists.
